Slow Cooker Drama

I did something completely stupid. I received a letter from Kohl’s stating my slow cooker I purchase is on a recall list. I follow the instructions to receive my refund which involved cutting the cord off the slow cooker and mailing it in with the form. I cut the cord off and placed the model number sticker from the bottom of my slow cooker onto the form. Mother F*CK*R! The month the model of my slow cooker was made is not on the recall list. Just ruined a really nice slow cooker. Note to self: Double check before cutting the cord.
